On stock, Crunch is honest in her work and wants to do what's right. She has a lot of forward on her and is quite biddable, willing to learn and correct her work with consistency. Crunch has worked with a small variety of sheep, such as Cheviots, Barbs, Scotties, Suffolk, and small mixed wool sheep. I started her training under a great mentor and Crunch was quite forgiving of my green handler errors as we both began to learn herding together.

In sports, Crunch follows her motto of an honest worker who really loves the games. She proves herself to be a consistent, reliable dog. Knocked bars are a very rare sight for her, and she rarely misses a disc despite how terrible my throw was or how bad the wind is. Crunch is never over the top and doesn't struggle with over-arousal in a training or working environment. She keeps her focus and easily works through challenges, and is a great problem solver.

While she loves to work and train, Crunch is a very easy dog to live with and is quick to find a spot to nap. She is never overbearing but doesn't mind the occasional cuddle.​

Crunch is now spayed and retired from breeding after giving us 2 litters with 6 wonderful puppies in total. Her first litter produced a singleton by c-section, and her last litter of 5 was a textbook whelp.​​
